Sponsor a Campaign

Corporate sponsorship is an integral part of tua aequitas’ development. Given the capacity and needs of initial program implementation, financial donations and many items, if donated, can greatly reduce our start up costs. This includes supplies and labor needed to build the program infrastructure, under the guidance of a skilled architect. Following this, items are needed to comfortably furnish apartments for 60 consumers, as well as office furnishing and items that will allow providers to serve consumers. Lastly, consumers will be in need of clothing items due to prior homelessness, incarceration, and transiency that contributes to the loss of items among this group.

Infrastructure Needs

Financial donations, pro bono architectural and construction donations, and supply donations will be needed to develop 2 fully functional buildings, one for assessment and housing and another for office and clinic space.

Apartment Needs

Project IMPACT will need all items that will comfortably furnish 60 living spaces. This includes larger furniture items such as bed frames, mattresses, end tables, coffee tables, dressers, desks, armoires, sofas, area rugs, lamps, TV stands, TVs, DVD players, microwaves, toaster ovens, refrigerators, desktop/laptop computers, vacuums, and radios. This also includes smaller items to assist with ability to live independently and have a space that feels like home. These include pots and pans, silverware, plates, bowls, cups, bed linens, pillows, towels, washcloths, dish racks for drying, cleaning supplies, toiletries of all kinds, decorative wall items, storage bins, hangers, and so on.

Office Needs

Following the infrastructure’s development, and along with apartment furnishings, office furnishing and items must be obtained. Needed items include larger items such as desks, office chairs, desktop/laptop computers, printers, fax machines, phones, chairs and sofas for individual sessions, group activities, and waiting areas, coffee tables and TVs for waiting areas, whiteboards, lamps, and decorative wall hangings. This also includes smaller items such as notebooks, pens, post its, planners/calendars, printer paper, markers, whiteboard markers, highlighters, and so on. Ideally, setting up partnerships with organizations who are willing to offer communication and documenting services would be beneficial.

Clothing Needs

Clothing items will always be in high demand given the transient nature of some of program consumers. In addition, given the lower income among this group, purchasing items may prove difficult. All clothing items in varying sizes will be needed including: jeans, sweatpants, shorts, pajamas, t-shirts, long sleeved shirts, thermals, sweaters, sweatshirts (hooded and not), winter jackets, sneakers/shoes, socks, scarves, gloves, hats, boxers, briefs, and light jackets. In addition, for our employment ready consumers, suits, ties, bow ties, dress slacks, and button down shirts would be useful. Lastly, in addition to item donation, gift cards could be ideal as it would allow our organization to escort consumer to purchase size appropriate and desired items when they are first released.
